Quadrivius Names Two to Panel of Advisors
Rochester, PA, November 8, 2000 - Quadrivius, Inc. has appointed DeWayne W. Tuthill and Kim W. Kunkle to its panel of advisors, according to Quadrivius CEO Gregg A. Troian. Quadrivius, a recently-formed holding company, delivers logistics solutions through its operating companies, Pittsburgh Logistics Systems, Inc. (PLS), PLS International LP (PLSI), eflatbed.com, and InnerLink Strategic Solutions Inc.
“Together, DeWayne and Kim possess over 60 years of combined transportation management and leadership experience that spans the steel, automotive, building materials, and construction industries. There is no doubt that they will offer the strategic guidance necessary to create a global logistics leader in Quadrivius,” Troian said.
Tuthill currently serves as a Senior Vice President of Bognar & Co., Inc., Pittsburgh, PA, a building materials and equipment company. From 1997 to 1999, he was Vice President of Purchasing, Materials Management, and Coated Products with Armco, Inc., also in Pittsburgh. He served as Executive Vice President of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. in Wheeling, WV, from 1988 to 1997. Tuthill also held positions with United Technologies in Jeanette, PA, and Crucible Steel in Midland, PA. He received a B.A. in Pre-Law from the University of Pittsburgh.
Kunkle is President and CEO of Laurel Holdings, Inc., a Johnstown, PA-based holding company with subsidiaries in the water utility management, pipeline construction, defense electronics, and automotive industries. Kunkle has held various operations and administrative positions within the Laurel Holdings family of companies since 1976. He received his B.A. in Management Science and Economics from Duke University.
